The rust caused by the dirt on the surface of the horn net can be washed with 10% nitric acid or abrasive detergent, or with special washing drugs. In the passivation film on the surface of the horn mesh, the parts with weak corrosion resistance will form pitting reaction and small holes due to self-excited reaction. In addition, chloride ions will approach, forming a strong corrosive solution, accelerating the speed of corrosion reaction. There are also intergranular corrosion cracking inside the horn net, all of which destroy the passivation film on the surface of the horn net. Therefore, the surface of the horn net must be cleaned and maintained regularly to maintain its gorgeous surface and prolong its service life. When cleaning the surface of the horn net, attention must be paid not to scratch the surface, and the use of detergent with bleaching ingredients and abrasives, steel wire balls, grinding tools, etc. should be avoided. To remove the detergent, clean water should be used to wash the surface at the end of the washing.
